After providing very little information, Disney has finally unveiled the first trailer for the live action Lilo & Stitch movie. The trailer looks amazing with impressive CGI visual effects. In addition, the character Stitch appears in a CGI format that feels very real but still adorable.

Interesting Moments in Lilo & Stitch Live Action Trailer
Actually, this remake project has been in Disney’s plans for a long time, but their promotion has been lacking. Many expected the first trailer to air during the Super Bowl, but they took a different approach by releasing it suddenly. Nonetheless, it still managed to catch the attention of many fans.
The live action Lilo & Stitch movie will show how Lilo first meets an alien who is the result of a genetic experiment called Experiment 626 who is later named Stitch after he joins Lilo’s family.
In the movie trailer, we see how Stitch made it to Earth after escaping from the United Galactic Federation space station. After escaping by plane, Stitch lands on Earth and meets Lilo.
In order to adapt to life on Earth, especially with pets, Stitch tried to change his appearance. He originally had four hands, then hid two of them to look like a dog.
Like the animated version released in 2002, the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie also tells the story of Lilo, an orphan girl who lives with her sister, Nani.
Feeling lonely, Lilo hopes to make friends while watching shooting stars. Soon, she meets Stitch on a spaceship, and they develop a close bond like family.
The Lilo & Stitch Live Action Trailer also features a number of supporting characters by real actors. Among these characters are Nani Pelekai (Sydney Elizebeth Agudong), Lilo’s sister, Agent Pleakley (Billy Magnussen), David Kawena (Kaipo Dudoit), and Cobra Bubbles (Courtney B. Vance).
2. Chris Sanders Returns to Voice Stitch
One of the interesting aspects of this movie is the return of Chris Sanders to voice the character of Stitch. Sanders is the creator of the character and also wrote the original story for the 2002 movie Lilo & Stitch along with Dean DeBlois. Meanwhile, the other main character, Lilo, is brought to life by Maia Kealoha.
The most striking changes in this trailer are seen in Dr. Jumba Jookiba and Agent Pleakley. Now, they seem to be using advanced technology to disguise themselves as humans, so that they can more easily interact with their surroundings. This means that fans will probably see less of their original appearances when compared to previous animations.
